So i picked up this unique looking (what i believe to be a crow) mold. Just wondering if anyone has any knowledge on the history of it like where it might be from or what era it could have been made in. From what I've found it could be a butter mold? Thats about all i could find on it. Thanks!

Nice! What are the dimensions, and what is the crow itself made of?

Could very well be a butter mold or a candy mold.

Each block is roughly 10” wide 7” high and a couple inches thick. The crow is also made of wood, matches the mold to the t cant i cant imagine how they finagled that.

Lata - That makes sense. My family has a sugar bush and sugar shack up in Brownsville, Vermont and they produce all kinds of Maple Sugar products every year when the sap flows. They had a good year this year but the pandemic hindered opening their store for a few weeks.
