Can anyone please let me know any information on this hallmark - believe it has a makers stamp of D & S (over G) but as you can see a bit hard to tell.

Any input greatly appreciated.

More pictures would help, what is it, a box? At first glance it looks like a Chinese export metal item, with some surface erosion, and some hallmarks that are meant to looks like European ones, such as English marks.
