This 2 1-2"W donkey or mule brooch has sapphire blue rhinestones with one red eye & three moving floral enameled beads as its "burro sack." Verified piece featured on the Is It Juliana website

His colour is lovely- the blue is so vivid, especially with the little cerise eye. his pose is great too, he looks like he's frolicking along happily!

Lauren thank you for the wonderful compliments, this donkey rather does have a frolicking pose, he's on his way and kicking up the burro sack! True that is a great intense blue color, I like the way this co uses almost all rhinestones on their animals with very little gold setting showing
Thanks six-0-one for the super compliment I'm so glad you liked my little Juliana animal, it is a fun design though I am not a big fan of beads, as you can tell from my photos I'm trying to get them out of the way so you can see more of the large faceted sapphire rounds! Nice to have more Juliana references online than they used to, I mostly shied away as I'm pretty untrusting of unsigned jewelry but now I have more confidence

Missed this must have been in the hospital at the time. The colours really bring this beauty to life as he looks fast on his feet, he is packing a load which brings interest ! He is a keeper and love that he has the quality of d&e, magnifique !~

I'm so glad that you enjoyed the few Juliana brooches that I have DejaVu, this donkey was a special find & I hope to add more of their animals in future.
