Daniel Buchanan ceramic vase

This vase is 5.5" high x 5.5" diameter. It is signed "Buchanan '06" on the base. Fifteen or twenty years ago, there was a potter named Buchanan in my vicinity and I always wanted a piece of his pottery, but it was quite expensive, so I never pried my wallet open to pay for an example. I found this today for $4 and immediately thought of his pottery. I am not sure if this is the same potter, but suspect it is. Daniel Buchanan is active in Central Illinois.
