Found this paper measuring tape in a local antique shop and was wondering if anyone could provide me with any information on how old it is. Much appreciated.

Pretty common item. You would be better trying to research the company name on it rather than the tape itself. That way you would get a time span for when the business was running.
This is a tailors or dressmakers tape. Very common.
