Roman Type Double Edge Michigan Toothpicks , with two small Dear handled ( one Turned ) Damascus dagger's . The Toothpicks are of D-2 steel with around a foot long blade, one with Elk handle scrimshawed Black Widow , White tail on other's. The Damascus Dagger blade's were bought off of E-vil bay, I made the handles out a turned chunk of antler, and mounted a real straight shank one on the other. A local deer farm has these for small dog chews for sale. I get lucky now and then and find a real nice one.

The medium size Bowie assortment are also of professionally hardened D-2 , with White tail deer antlers. The close up is of the top small Bowie I made, is for my grandson Eli. It is a reversed handle antler. Most all my knifes are in-visioned once I find a deer antler that speaks to me. I than can see its possibilities. Bought at a garage sale, this unmounted antler had such a natural in the hand feel reversed, it was eerie. I could not see turning it around. So I came up with this.

Some nice blades there. Probably made by the Forged in Steel types.

fortapache, All but the Damascus Dagger blade's were made by me , and most were styled to fit the deer horn antlers. I still have my first Bowie I made in jr high 9th grade school in 1969. I bet you could not get away with that today. So I became a journeyman tool and die maker , and started making and trading knifes. All were made from soft tool steel bar stock before heat treatment. I like D-2 as it is a wonderfully hard steel after heat treatment, and with 12% chrome, hand polishes to a mirror and has very good rust resistance. I do not care for a stainless blade knife.
