Found this button in my yard. Wetumpka, AL. On the front it’s says USED or USLD but we believe the former. I cannot find anything with USED on it. USLD I have found but nothing that matches. Any help would be appreciated

Load of history around there, but this appears naval. Maybe associated with river boats. Could they get around the shoals there ? If you can read any makers marks on the back, it shouldn't be too hard of a search. "E", engineers?

We have a creek on our property that does connect to the Coosa River, though it is very shallow. I thought engineering as well but could not find anything. Jackson had a detachment of men stationed a few miles from my home during the Creek Wars, though I don’t think it is related to that.
