      Left to right:
      AID workers ensured the safety of all aircraft; Womens Home Defence set up by MP Dr. Edith Summerskill for training housewives, Rest Centre Service ensuring home comforts for workers during Blitz etc, and Red Cross and St Johns Ambulance Brigade who made up the civilian War Organisation.
