This caught my eye for an unusual reason. Somewhere I have the same one that belonged to my great grandmother. What I thought unusual is that mine has the very same pock marks on the outside. I thought mine was somehow damaged over the years but now I question that. Now I wonder why they would have those pocks. Anyone with an answer? Theory?

I was wondering the same thing it looks intentional. They are on the front and back of this one. A few very fine scratches here and there maybe from the tool that made the pock marks.

this might sound dumb, but this looks like teething baby or puppy fine teeth marks, on both sides, something done to distract and by accident.

This question is why is this in the unsolved mysteries category?
