    Platinum ore crystals? Not sure but has good weight and doesn't react to Nitric Acid. Any ideas are welcome.

      If you don't find your answer here, there is another area worth researching and most all colleges are willing to help. Have you ever seen a piece of a comet or meteorite? They sometimes look very much like what you have here. Consider my input food for thought.

      Had something like this that was from around an iron foundry and finally found out that it was iron pyrite. Slag. Where did you find it ?

      Looks like iron pyrite to me.

      Don't think it's pyrite, it's silver colored. Not sure, yet wjat it is, hopefully platinum...
