These meoto yuunomi are 3.5" and 3.25" high. They are marked Shuzenji Temple on the bottom. Apparently, there are many potters working in the vicinity of the temple. Not sure if these pieces were sponsored by the Temple or just the work of a local pottery for sale to tourists. These are different from any other meoto yunomi in my collection with a very unique surface. Not sure how this was accomplished but was probably either applied or incised and then smoothed to round off the ridges. Definitely hand made.
