Hummel's have always been made in Rodental, Germany and would not be marked Hungary. Additionally it should have a Goebel mark on it if it was made between 1934 and 2008 when Goebel stopped their production of hummels.

Yes Franz Gobel is in Germany, and close shop in 2008. When I say Hummel, I am talking about Berta Hummel, not Franz Gobel company in Germany. As she studied in the southern Germany art school, could before the deal with Mr. Franz Gobel, a small production of Berta Hummel have been made in Hungary by a fellow artist that would pre-date the 1934 mile stone as she finish her studies in 1930
