Looking for information about this item of mine, probably to print the page of a book I guess a bible page. Regarding a wood-cut with( s ANTONIO DIPADOA ) written backwards on the bottom looks from the 15th century ( but have no clue if I am write)would appreciate a expert look at this fragile piece of darken wood. The wood-cut is just over 10 inches wide, 14 1/2 inches tall and 1 inches thick.

I wonder if you could post a picture of the back? If you are familiar with the earlier presses you know why I ask. A decent photo of the back should give a good indication of it's age.

I can do that soon the back has marks of being hung long ago for a fair amount of time, shows a old wood worm infestation no longer existent. Same as the book worms pattern of earlier dated books from the 16-17 century completely normal when the item was neglected in the past. The iron u shape hook is also extremely corroded du to a humidity level and time. Thx again for your advice

Don't get to excited about wood worm holes. I can throw a piece of wood under my shop and leave it for 2 or 3 months and have a super old looking piece complete with worm holes. That is how reproductions are made. Give it a coat of turps, set it on fire and put the fire out with a steel brush then use coarse steel wool and you have an instant relic. Perfectly legal to sell as long as you don't start advertising it as old or an artifact.

No worries, I will let the museum do there investigating and test the wood for age.

That is an excellent approach. If all else fails try a university if you have one close. They normally date things like this for free because they use the item to teach students how and what to do in the process of evaluating it.
