Hello everybody! Hope all of you are well and staying cool! Have been so swamped with home projects since March, haven’t had a chance to do my collector’s “therapy”....looking at everybody’s treasures, posting a few of mine...and just relaxing. But it’s 98 in Denver again, half the state is on fire, and the smoke is too thick to do anything else today but stay in. The dog won’t even go out.
Just wondering whether y’all believe this may be Czech glass. It’s a bit different from some of the other pieces I’ve seen where the faceted beads are well cut. These gold beads are faceted, but somewhat irregular. The clear beads are faceted, but don’t have the sharp cut one would expect. The bead holes are rather large. The satin glass beads of course, are just round. I see no mounding line. Some beads have little brass caps. It measures 28” long, 14” when clasped.
Maybe it’s not Czech at all, just a piece somebody put together? Not signed. But more striking in person.
Thank you everybody for looking!
Terry
Eileen...you could fry eggs on asphalt in your part of the country! My goodness that is miserably hot! I’m jealous you have a beach and ocean to play in after babysitting grandkids ????. We had the two granddaughters here from Houston for a week back in July, but Grandpa kept them entertained with fishing at a local pond. Thank goodness!
The necklace does look good with black and also red. Haven’t been wearing much jewelry with all this heat. Am anxious for some 80 degree temps.
So good to hear from you!

Thank you everybody for taking time to look at my Czech...or not...necklace! I appreciate it!
