This is not a remake. And doesn't look like it was repainted.
When I bought it at a professional estate sale, they ask me if I knew what is was. Before I can say they told me it was a English street lamp, but I knew better. I wasn't going to argue. Just said I'll take it

It was made from 5/57-mid 1961. Rarity Is a 1. Only thing missing is the collar. Nice buy!

Thank you very much for the information. It's always good to know as much as you can. I been watching ebay for a collar, most of them are too rotted.
Smart move not to argue...just pay for it and move on. Lucky find in my book .
