Pics 1 & 2 here are of this morning's first truckload, pic 3 is what remained of that pile by the time I returned a couple hrs later with truckload #2, pic 4 is the pile 're-loaded' as I last saw it this afternoon. With luck (??) all of it will also disappear itself by the time I get back to the shop in the morning...
Sawzalls are *indeed* way fun tools to have handy every so often, even if to ultimately do very bad things to otherwise good stuff that nobody wants anymore as it currently exists... <sigh><sob> ...but again at least somebody else somewhere else might end up finding something halfway useful with any of it, vs. just so much more dumpster food...
I love it that you consider that your “throw-away” items might be just what someone else needs.
You probably made their day!
THANK YOU again Watchsearcher -- what a *kind* comment! :-) :-) :-)
This morning's update BTW, absolutely everything but the two smaller assemblies seen in various orientation near the center of the pics (and oddly the ones that are also the most loaded down with copper?) had in fact disappeared all by itself. I'm gonna try to replenish the pile once more this afternoon, if it doesn't get too hot meanwhiles...?
