Till now I dont think we considered that these 3 to 5 ring jars and boxes were the same shape, with a different top version.
There are several examples of both in many decors, the lidded one is mostly decorated with an opaque background color with orange and yellow swirls on royal blue, red, black, and green. The jar like straight up rim, has an even more wide range of decors in various types of spatters we rarely see on more than one piece.
Neither of mine are marked, the black piece came from Canada, and the orange spatter came from Germany. Definitely interwar in the Tango Sklo style, the exhibit image was part of the Ruckl spatter pieces exhibit, and there were more of the orange swirls decors in another Ruckl attributed exhibit in other shapes, by the curator in 2012, Jitka L.
If you do not trust her expertise and conclusions, then that is your choice. I built my Ruckl Czech glass collection based on it, as well as my website.
I wanted to add other pieces same as both jars, in black, but this one is blue, and another variation of orange spatter. this is also by Ruckl.
