Schreiner jewelry is among the most elaborate (and most expensive) costume jewelry on the market today. While I enjoy all costume jewelry companies, Schreiner creations are particularly lovely and intriguing.
This example features milk glass stones and a special trademark of Schreiner jewelry. Every second round, clear stones is set upside down. While this brooch is signed, many Schreiner creations are unsigned, and the presence of these inverted stones is a good way to identify and attribute Schreiner pieces. Sometimes, all of the stones are inverted, though sometimes, only a few are, as in this brooch.
I have a couple more items by this designer, and I look forward to sharing them. Thank you for stopping by, and enjoy!
Marvelous original Eisenberg brooch, the milk glass & rhinestones are gorgeous together
Quite stunning!
My mistake, Schreiner, must have had your Eisenberg on the brain. Can always count on teach for the correction :)
It is a great looking brooch and even a noob like me can see it's well made.
Were the upside down stones just to vary the light? It seems a bit weird, but then, I am a noob.
