We uploaded this vase in the Art Glass discussion site at Facebook and got no answers on who could have made this unique vase. It measures 10 1/2” tall by 2 5/8” diameter at rim and with a 4” base. It is made of green uranium glass that shades to a rich blue at the top. It has applied rigaree around the body, a recessed under-base and a polished pontil. Any ideas?
Hey Bob, this is a beautiful example of this style of vases, mine are cranberry with different shapes and feet.
Yours might be another variation by kralik, they produced a lot of translucent and color graduated shades, the interesting thing with yours are the interior panel optic fabrication, including the base, and the overall shape, I think was used for several other decors, without the trail of pinched tooled rigaree around the body.
