I bought this on eBay a few years ago, sorry, I have no info on it. Can anyone tell me what style/type of glass this is? Any other information or comments would be greatly appreciated as well.

    Thank you!

looks to be a type of Morano(Italy) glass.

      Thanks for your input, penguins_sid_geno.
I've been searching Google images (using Murano, Art Glass, Swung, Stretch, Fingers as key words) without much luck finding anything quite as "extreme" as this, any suggestions on other keywords to use?

      Hello doolittle

It may possibly be Murano, the Sammerso or Seguso series, however, to me it appears as if it may be Chribska. A wonderful Czechoslavakia (sp?) piece by Josef Hospodka. Modern Bohemian Glass. It is rapidly becoming very collectable. A key word to try at the Chribska website is off hand glass and of course modern glass.
Hope you find it. It is a lovely piece.

      Warmest Regards

      Thanks Leona

While I was never able to find the Chribska website, (my Google skills leave a little bit to be desired) searching for it as well your other suggestions made for lovely and very colorful afternoon. The Josef Hospodka items reminded me of another piece I've wondered about that I'll post next.

      Thanks again!

      Hello Doolittle

      Thank you for the reply.
      Please try chribskaglassguide/glassencyclopedia
I am pleased that you enjoyed your last search.
The above site lists many glass artesians in addition to Josef Hospodka, for Chribska.

      Best Regards
      Leona

I sold a similar vase on eBay several years ago. Mine was purchased in Juarez, Mexico in the late 1960's. No two were identical; they were made on-site by the glass blowers/artisans. It brought around $75 in 2002. It was light green and stood about 24" high.
