      Despite the rude-ish comments on your first of this quarter this afternoon, I agree 100% with the others. It is an *abused* coin, but not any sort of 'mint error'. Just like (in a way) coins that kids put on train tracks (to see what happens to 'em once the next passing train goes by) or the otherwise dozens of assorted coins with weirdly rounded edges often shown here too, those most usually just having been victims of being trapped inside the guts of somebody's clothes dryer for a few years.

      For the record I also fully admit I'm nobody's "expert" for such things -- just one that tends to look at stuff with a more skeptical (and/or maybe more logical?) point of view as to how any such thing (a coin, or anything else) might have ended up in its current condition. NO OFFENSE DUDE, please take this comment in the spirit it was intended. :-)
