Devoid of faceted gemstones and pulchritudinous parures, my novelty brooches, charms, stickpins, jabot pin and chignon comb lambently constellate on a sage-green sea of chenille.
In the final photo, four of my favourite antique pieces are presented: Dante Alighieri's La Divina Commedia leather-bound brooch, a guilloche enamelled Dutch girl ring-around-the-rosy brooch, an anthropomorphic Theodore Roosevelt political stickpin portraying a bespectacled bear, and a walking Felix charm. Also, I dote on my celluloid Pinocchio and Jiminy Cricket bar brooch!

I always wear the Popeye brooches on my nautical-themed attire. He is rather lonely without Olive Oyl, though; I need to add her to my collection.
