This star fish is about 4.5" in diameter. It is signed on the bottom, but I can't make out the signature. A bit complex for a student piece, so guessing it is the work of a studio artist, but no idea of when. There is some roughness around the edges in places, but overall a pretty good well made piece. Third thrift shop find today. Probably American made. I did find several examples of starfish made by Blenko which were very similar, but labeled, not signed. I could not get a very good image of the signature, so did a free hand attempt at reproducing it.
