This model is from the Greenlight Collectibles Hollywood Series and this is Axel Foley's 1970 Chevy Nova. As can be seen this one has been weathered which is to say it is dirty. The actual movie car was also dented and has missing chrome trim. But Greenlight needs to use this for other Chevy Nova's they make. Making a mold is very expensive so that make variations to get maximum bang for their buck.
Personally I think the dirt makes this model but it also has an opening hood. But the opening hood snaps shut for some reason so I had Mr Toothpick lend a hand. The engine looks nice and clean although the rest of the car which looks like a barn find. I am thinking the barn find look works for this. Almost forgot to mention the white top bringing back the two tone look from the 1950s.
Now with luck I have time to post my fancy Nova.
Wondering what you were going to post when you said you were posting Novas. Love me some Chevy. Including my 64 C10 with 383 stroker and 12-bolt posi
