This knife has no markings, it’s blade is carbon, it’s length of blade is 11 inches, the handle only fits your palm ( broken ?? ) the blade has a slight Kirkri shape. The sheath is silver with decorative beading on each end with a copper ring at the breach.
I would like to hear from anyone who has any idea of what this knife was used for and it’s origin .

    Thanks Murray

The coat of arms of Mexico has a Golden Eagle eating a snake. Is the coin on the scabbard Mexican?

Yes the coin is Mexican however I put them in as there was two impressions that size that were just recessed but nothing in it ...thus I put the two Mexican coins in to dress it up a bit .
      Thanks for your comment ....Murray

Congru....thanks for your comment and noticing the Mexican coins that I in-layed as a decoration. I wish I knew what had been in the recessions.

Blunderbuss2, that is for sure, when drawing it it cups your palm and your fingers stay behind the bolster, perfect for a slashing cut , and you sure would not have trouble reaching the heart ....mast right !
