Today on Fenton Friday we have one of their favorite items: the two-handled Bonbon. Cherry Circles often gets confused with Cherry Chain. The difference is that Cherry Circles doesn't have the fancy curls contained in the Cherry Chain ones. Cherry Chains was produced in 1914, and Cherry Circles in 1921. It's automatically Cherry Circles if it is the bonbon. Cherry Circles is also called Cherries and Holly Wreath by some.
Cherry Circles comes in 5 colors: Golden, Red, Royal Blue, Violet, and White. Red is exclusive to the Bonbon, and said bonbon may be found in a card tray shape variant.
The line also consists of an 8" bowl, a comport, and a 9" plate. Bowls have not been found in white, and the plates lack a violet counterpart. Plates are scarce so expect to pay a premium for them. The bonbon is very rare and can go for thousands. Rarity scale 2 of 5 according to the Fenton Art Glass Guide. The lower the number the rarer the piece. 1 being extremely rare. (Only a few examples known) 5 is common. Most of the items are common in this pattern. Hope you find this information useful!
