found today at an estate sale. She stands about 4 feet tall amd looks to be signed L. HOLLOT? if anyone knows anything about this piece or artist I would love to know. It is on a wooden base as well.

Louis Hottot (1829-1905) was a 19th Century French sculptor, who specialised producing in Orientalist scenes and figures. Most of Hottot’s works were cast in spelter and were exhibited at the Paris Salon from 1885 until 1898.
Another site (this a translation from French):
Orientalist characters and scenes dominate the production of this sculptor installed in Paris rue des Petites-Ecuries. It was not until 1885 that he participated for the first time in the Salon of the Société des Artistes Français. He presents two works there each year until 1892 and ceases to participate definitively in 1898. His sculptures are published, often in large size, in bronze, spelter, marble and bisque porcelain, very rarely in terracotta. Some of these works were published in pewter. This sculptor was himself a publisher and created a league in order to defend literary and artistic property. He became president in 1888. Like Coudray, Dubucand and Guillemin, Louis Hottot is today one of the early orientalist sculptors who, much appreciated by amateurs,had in their time enjoyed little notoriety.
If you search his name you will see that his works were often polychrome like this one and are quite valuable now. Also search under L. Hottot.
