What constitutes a Fan vase? I assume that this Kralik vase may meet the definition of a fan vase because of the squished appearance of the crimped rim but I have seen round crimped vases like this one that were called fan vases. This particular one has an opaque translucent body that is decorated with mainly elongated blue spatter that also includes yellow, orange, red and purple spatter. It also has a trailing of brown that runs from the base to the rim. It measures 8” tall and 6 1/4” wide and is unmarked.
Beautiful design, the spatter reminds me of confetti
Very Nice, Indeed !!!
impresive combination of colors and shapes
Love this Kralik decor, good question about Kralik Vase-Fan shapes. They made so many variations, that you can go from a simple V shape to an ornate crimped, with applications of glass in another color on a translucent base. Thanks for posting.
Thanks truthordare for these comments and love. Alan from Toronto posted a pair of almost identical vases with the trailings running horizontally. Thank you also kivatinitz for your fine comments and love. RER
