Picked this up at Long Beach, one of the first good graniteware/enamelware pieces I have seen in months. The brown and white swirl pattern is rather rare. I probably have less than six pieces and I have many pieces. Plus it is very attractive with a rich brown color like the fudge on a sundae.
A coffee pot this size is something the typical cowboy would carry on his horse. In the long ago when one travelled by horse a small pot like this would be carried. I am guestimating it holds about 2 quarts. The bottom is 5" across. It is quite dark inside and the bottom is black. I shall do a light cleaning and see if it is still useable.
Beautiful graniteware coffee pot fort, excellent find
