      I can absolutely confirm the thermometer from St. Labre -- 1970's or so, there were at least two of 'em somewhere in the house I grew up in as a child along with other various St. Labre 'free gifts' for your donation...my Mom was one of their 'contributors'.

      I LOVE the Garfield mug too -- yet one more "classic"?!! ;-) :-) :-)

      Heck -- I just looked closer (once more) at your pics and realized the metal thing with the blue handle is actually some kind of *handheld bell* (first glances I thought it was the top of a garden fogger or somesuch?) and thus your reference in the title?!! <dohhh> I've never seen one quite like that, looks like a way fun little old noisemaker! :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)
