      You must be young. Someone spooned it. They did a crappy job but that is what it is.

      OR it somehow got caught to rattle around under the drum of a clothes dryer for a few yrs somewhere -- but coins like that are generally more uniformly distorted, so I'll go with fhrjr2's thought that it was 'spooned'. :-)
