I thought probably from Venini but another knowledgeable person said Vistosi?

pattern is similar to real-life zebra skin

like expensive men's shoes, the colour is aubergine (eggplant) not black

light emits a cool pattern on the ceiling

Not only a beautiful glass shade, but I lovelovelove its coiled power cord/wire -- what an absolutely cool design touch that is!! :-) :-) :-) :-)

      thanks for the comments

the curly-Q cord was fairly common in Italy in the 60s / 70s with certain pendant lamp designs

It's a piece from La Murrina. Part or related to the Ghibli collection. This is a piece made (or made under the supervision) of young Lino Tagliapietra. Around the 70s.
