Cloth doll with jointed legs and yarn hair. I’ve had her in my cedar chest for many years, but don’t remember where she came from. I haven’t seen one that looks like this one.

Ho your doll was made from a pattern by a mother likely for her child . This pattern was very popular and also was done in black , Cute doll !

Thanks for the info. I know my mom didn’t make it; she was definitely not a seamstress! Any idea how far back the pattern was used. I’m 75 years old so it’s been awhile since I played with dolls.
Here is a example of patterns used . There are some variation but basic look is on this link. I believe made around 1940's era .
