The back of this medallion is engraved and has the term "cenyear" or "cen year". I can find no reference to this term anywhere. Any ideas as to what it means? Added photo of proof marks.

A real beauty. It might be a shortened form of Centennial Year.

The 375 Mark means it is 9 carat gold and the enameling is so well done. The maker looks to be James Fenton & Co Birmingham. A cleare pic of those marks would be helpful.

A charter member is an original member so Centennial might be a bit of a stretch.

“Sunderland Ward Missionaries” There was a Joseph Blaine Freestone (1908 - 1986) who was in England as a Morman missionary. The dates might be important. Many eyes !!!

That looks like a Q at the right of the hallmarks.

Q capital is for 1940.The same letters were used for gold, which has been marked in Birmingham since 1824, but with a background of a square with cut corners.
