      When I first saw your pretty sugar bowl, I immediately thought of a set my mother owned....she made it in her ceramic shop.
      The way it has the initials incised into the bottom was also telling of ceramic shop pieces.
      Does anyone in your family have those initials?
      Back in the 60s-70s, making ceramics was all the rage in the craft world. It was a very popular thing to make a pretty ceramic piece to give as a gift on special occasions....something you put some time and effort and love into making.
      I hope researching the initials leads you to the name of a person who cared about your relative.
