I think I've mentioned this before but your glass horses really remind me of Kelpies! Especially with the mane on this one- it kinda looks like a fin in the first picture. The deep coral shade is really nice too and the slight tilt to the side is a nice touch
Very sea horse-ish and lovely.
Many thanks everybody for the love

I can definitely see a water horse like a kelpie in this design Lauren, you are on target here & although Mantorp just called it a horse, I wanted to say seahorse because of the mane & long nose - but then the rather thick necked half body made me think regular horse, these glassmakers sure put their own spin on animals! Glad you liked it and thanks for your wonderful praise
Thank you six-0-one for your super comment & I'm with you, just love horse designs - I used to ride horses as a girl, and then I am a half horse Sagittarius lol! I am hoping you will enjoy a really nice upcoming horse piece that I recently obtained it's pretty cool, and yes isn't this a nice orange color glass
Thanks Jerry for your great comment, glad you liked this horse, it is a pretty color and a rare one in glass animals, always nice to find unusual colors (OR unusual animals) to post
Good eye Karen, you are seeing a seahorse too - as you can tell from my profile pic I LOVE seahorses but had to go with the original name. As you know, the glass makers take such liberties creating their own fantasy animal designs (Murano is one, some of their early designs have horses with huge eyelashes or frogs with eyes spaced way apart - maybe a Picasso influence?) and there are even some you can't make out what the heck it is, am I right. Fabulous comment my friend thanks so much
