Hi there,
my name is Alex and I am an antiques collector and treasure hunter.
Recently I catched an old portrait supposed to be Mozart on Ebay.
It seems to be an ink painting, looking at the signature (either copied or by Mozart), it really seems to be made with a pen. Looks really like an original and I investiagted that couple of portraits got lost during the WWs.
The first pic shows a comparison to a Johann Heinrich Wilhelm Tischbein portrait on the right hand, not to be mixed with Johann Friedrich August Tischbein.
Guess, it's an idealized Mozart, however I got the frame to the painting and it looks as from the time.
So, any help is much appreciated on this.
