I purchased this pendant from a dealer in Eastern Europe who sells authentic Roman and Byzantine era coins. The dealer is based in Niš, Serbia. He had this pendant listed at a very low price with the title, ancient essential oil pendant. I’m not quite sure that’s what this held. As you see from the photos there’s a hole in the top of the pendant. There’s something in there, surprise! Maybe an old dead bug, maybe shards of metal, or dirt from the site it was found. I’m not sure, if I was able to verify what it is maybe I can guess what the remnants are inside. Does anyone know what this pendant/charm is?
