This knife was found in a swamp off hatchery road in North Kingstown Rhode Island using a metal detector. I'm being told it's a cake carving knife but I cannot find any that have the guard as this one does. The shape of the blade too looks like a knife you'd use to kill someone in war.

If you are smart you won't venture into combat with this. All you will do is piss someone off trying to stab them with it. The design of it is indeed a cake knife and probably made by Westall - Richardson in England.

Check with the police in that area and find out if anybody was killed with a knife. LOL !
