THIS TABLE WAS ACQUIRED ABOUT EIGHT YEARS AGO. THE TABLE, EXQUISITELY DECORATED WITH CARVED LEGS OF BARE BREASTED WOMAN ATOP PADDED LION FEET , IS MADE OF WALNUT PRIMARILY. IT HAS AN INLAY-ED TOP AND ONE DRAWER. I HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO KNOWLEDGE AS TO THE ORIGIN OF THIS ITEM.

I've seen similar desks from the 1920s, so it could be from that time period. Something about the wood keeps throwing me off, does it look like the center bracket has been replaced or repaired?
