This is most likely another vase produced by the Ernst Steinwald & Co. glassworks. I bought the vase recently on ebay from the USA (thanks to Jericho). I bought it mainly because of a paper sticker with a number, which is very similar to the number on the sticker of a vase with a sticker by the Arnošt Steinwald glassworks from the Museum of Glass and Jewelery in Jablonec. (see: https://www.collectorsweekly.com/stories/283823-arnot-steinwald-a-spol-ernst-steinwa?in=user). The first number is, in my opinion, an indication of shape and size, the second number is the decor number. There is also an inscription on the sticker in pencil writing, which could be A. Steinwald ??? (Arnošt is the Czech form of the name Ernst).
This decor, which has so far been attributed mainly to the W. Kralik glassworks (sometimes referred to as the "giraffe"), also appears in one of the variants of Steinwald's Flowerall decor (attributed by some sources to the W. Kralik glassworks and referred to as the "Marquetry"). see: https://www.collectorsweekly.com/stories/284336-marquetry-glass--volume-2--shapes-and?in=user

Yes, it definitely looks like "Steinwald" written on the label - to my eyes. And it is double-marked with the arched mark until recently attributed exclusively to Kralik! It's an uncommon shape. Have you been able to locate other examples (and potentially more decors) in the same shape?

Is this a candidate, or is the shape different?

It's hard to tell from the angle, but I think the lower portion of the vase is smaller in your new example????

      Is the 4 3/4 a size in inches ???

Thanks for the links. In my opinion, the shapes are not the same, but very similar. I think they come from the same glassworks. My vase measures 4 3/4 "(see on the paper label). Here is a link to another vase in my collection, which has the same shape and size and which I have previously reassigned to E. Steinwald. https://www.bohemianglass.org/katalog/vaza-vz-23-3413/detail/

This is really interesting to witness how an attribution that seemed to be a well-established is changing thanks to new data and information.

Thanks for the link to the other vase in your collection with the same shape. Side by side, it is now easy to see that these two are a different shape to the other two I cited above. I agree with Ivonne it is fascinating to watch these 'Kralik' attributions being reassigned. Thank you for sharing your research.

yes, Ales is right WOW, this is smaller vase found in many "iris" type decors. This decor above is a crackles cased decor I have referred to as Giraffe. Although this one is not iridized there is another version that is flashed iridescent... I suspect they are related but they might not be.... I guess we can add the giraffe decor to marked E&S line.
