Rare Riford's Cigar Glass Sign

My husband found this in our attic in a pile of windows,we would like to find out more about it. We found on the internet an advertisment in the "Druggist" from 1884. It has raised letters,the background is frosted and the corner is broken. I would think this to be a rare item.
