The Bionic Woman 1976 Board Game

I bought this board game at a thrift shop on a whim because my dad loves vintage board games and is a fan of Bionic Woman as well. What really interested me however, is the fact that this particular edition of the game looks slightly different to what I’ve seen online.

Firstly I’ve noticed a typo printed within the instructions—describing an inaccurate description of the amount of Special cards. A slip of paper describing this typo as a notice was included in the game as well.

Secondly, I’ve seen depictions of this board game that have the back of the game board be hot pink—matching the pink color displayed on the face of the board. The back of my board is a very obvious red, that does not match the pinks of the game art.

I’m not sure if this particular board is a possible first edition due to the design flaws I’m seeing. But the fact that I haven’t found anything like this while researching online has been quite fascinating to me. Either way I’m excited to surprise this to my dad later for Christmas this year!
