I also came across a '70s Tiger Cycle and can find little to no info about it. The latest it can be is 1977 as it had a city registration sticker on it that expired in 1978. It's in beautiful condition and had been stored indoors and ridden VERY little. The paint is original and in excellent condition as are the rims and all other parts. I just cleaned it up, regreased it, replaced perishable parts (tires, cables, brake, chain) and turned it around for $150 (about $125 invested. Not much profit but I do it as more of a retirement hobby and knowing someone will get a well rebuilt bike for a decent price compared to others in our area.
Don't know where it's from. Any help out there? Saw another posting for a 50's Tiger that said it was "made in Holland". No such helpful labeling on mine. There is a Tiger Cycle in the U.K. but they've only been building bikes for 20 years so they are not old enough.
