I didn't know how common this china was until I purchased two of these sherbet/dessert/consomme bowls from a yard sale for .50¢ each. I think I got a deal but I've never been able to find any others of this particular dish much less still in the original boxes.

While I have opened the top flap of the boxes in order to take these pictures, I've never taken the base out of the cuff that holds them in. I have no idea what the gold "N" on the bottom stands for so if anyone can clue me in I'd be that much smarter. :)

While I would love to use these bowls for candies I think I will leave them in the boxes until I decide if I want to collect this pretty pattern.

Can no one tell me anything more about these items?
