Everything on the old girl was aged from the paintwork to the mechanics, so I completely stripped her to nuts and bolts and rebuilt .
Everything is hand done from stripping the paint to sanding it can take months if I’m not happy. This 1947 hi top by mills was designed from the Australian market which only lasted 4 yrs before the government stepped in and outlawed them, must ended up as scrap but I still find the odd one.

It is always a revelation to see what you have done to the old machines, restored back to their previous glory.
There is one stored away near Newcastle NSW, a Jubilee Special using 2s coins, that can do with some tender care. I keep saying that I will get to it one day.
