Can Anyone I.D. This Item?

Tools and Hardware1311 of 9815Would like to know more about this Mason & Sons knife and if its collectible.Does anyone know what this is and what it is used for? I found it on my land near an old lead mine. The handle is 29" long.

    Found in an old barn. What is it called and what is/was it used for? Someone called it a slough but what was it's use case? Very heavy with the iron rails running the length of it.

      Maybe something used to slide bales of hay to the ground from a hayloft in said barn??? Just a guess...
