Well here it is, what I've been searching for many years.
Found it under a cabinet and paid a hair over $100.
I've never seen one like this and I have not restored it. Its beautiful and stunning.
But so different from the wood slat trunks I was looking for.
Trunk man posted one about 4 years ago and they are very similar.
So Im asking if any further knowledge came of it?
There is no makers mark, but it does have the castors that spin around so its easy to move.
Everything on this trunk is original and pristine.
I'm in awe of it.
If you have any other information that would be amazing.
So I was looking at pics of my oak slat and saw these and wondered where I took the picture.. lol! Yes the same as mine … with a few hardware variations. After all this time I have not uncovered any new info on these gems. Will keep you posted if I do!
