    (223 items)

Wanted to show an actual bill for a set, when prices seemed reasonable.
A nice clean set with very little if any wear.
The stylized earrings here are quite rare, not many of them found.

Fabulous Sherman ice set, must easily have been thought to be genuine diamonds, they are spectacular! Incredible 60s prices, great to see that receipt & compare with today's

Wow Bling factor ! Actually they were expensive for the time for costume jewelry . What a fabulous set Phil and to have the bill makes it even more special . Much love xo

In 1967 I guess that price was still quite a lot, but I'm sure you wish you could buy this set now for that!
Gorgeous set of course Phil, but that bracelet is amazing. I love the pattern of the setting, so different, so effective.

Oh, this is such a beautiful set. I don’t think the clear sets get the good press they deserve. They look fabulous when worn. So nice to have the invoice. I often wonder about individual historic Sherman purchase “choice.” These are exactly the pieces I would choose in a Sherman set, if I was buying such (in 1967, wow).

Phil, you have the very best Sherman collection on CW, none can compare :)

Lovely scintillating ice set! So interesting to see an itemized receipt, too. I was curious and asked Google what $25 in 1967 would be worth today; it said about $222 (American), which is about $300 Canadian. I doubt you could get these for that now, even if clear rhinestones don't attract quite the same feeding frenzy. Very elegant indeed, especially that brooch which is so delicate and snowflake-like. I wonder who the lucky Chatham owner was and how often she wore them? If only these pieces could talk..>!
