Skull found out west by Norman on a horse back trail ride

Mister Norman thought this was very old.. He told me 10,000 years. He found it where a stream washed out a bank / hillside. Pulled out of the eroded hillside. He had hanging in the tack room of the barn where we played cribbage and drank brandy into the night. I thought the bird nest in the eye was a nice touch

Not sure if it really that old?? Or just another bison skull. It does have different bone structure than the modern ones I have seen
